# How Credits Work

> Credit costs and billing cycles for Recruitcha GTM.

Credits are Recruitcha GTM's usage currency. They pay for sourcing hiring managers, monitoring connections, and exporting enriched fields.

Your **credits remaining** balance appears in the portal header and under **Settings → Billing**.

## Plans and allowances

| **Solo** | 1,000 (one-time grant)    | 5              | Does not renew monthly |
| **Pro**  | 5,000 per billing period  | 20             | Every 30 days          |

Pro and Pro+ are paid subscriptions. Annual plans bill once per year but grant credits on the same **30-day cycle** shown in billing settings.

## Do unused credits roll over?

**Paid plans (Pro / Pro+): No.** Unused credits do not carry into the next billing period. At renewal, your balance resets to zero and the new monthly allowance is added.

**Solo:** Your one-time 1,000 credits remain until used. No monthly reset.

Purchased top-ups are cleared on Pro/Pro+ renewal along with plan credits.

## What spends credits?

### Job Listening

* **1 credit** per hiring manager returned
* **+1 credit** when a work email is returned

Not charged when a run returns zero new leads.

### Market Mapping

* **1 credit** per lead returned
* **+1 credit** when a validated email is returned

### Monitor Connections

* **1 credit per 10 hiring managers** monitored per run
* Minimum 10 hiring managers for new monitoring signals

### Lead export (paid columns)

Standard export fields are free.

## Getting more credits

* **Upgrade** Solo → Pro → Pro+ in **Settings → Billing**
* **Top up** 1,000–100,000 credits in 1,000-credit increments (workspace owners)
* **Auto top-up** on Pro/Pro+ when balance falls below a threshold
* **Invite rewards** on Solo — 1,000 credits per referral, up to 20 referrals

## Running out of credits

At **zero balance**, active signals pause and new billable actions are blocked until credits are restored.
