# Market Mapping

> Build a one-off targeted list of hiring managers by role, company, and location filters.

Market Mapping builds a **one-off targeted list** of hiring managers based on your filters — ideal when you need a focused list for a specific market, role family, or geography without standing up a continuous Job Listening signal.

## When to use Market Mapping

* Entering a new vertical or geography and need a first-pass list of hiring managers
* Building a named-account list before a conference or outbound push
* Running a time-boxed search that does not need 24-hour monitoring

## How it works

    Open [app.recruitcha.ai](https://app.recruitcha.ai) and select **Market Mapping**.

  <Step title="Set Hiring Manager Filters">
    Define role titles, locations, industries, company size, and other filters for the list you want.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run and download">
    Recruitcha sources matching hiring managers mapped to relevant jobs. Review results and click **Download** or **Export Data**.

The run screen shows an **up to X credits** estimate before you start.

## Credit costs

| Validated email returned for that lead | +1 credit |

## Export

Export standard fields for free or add verified email and AI pitch fields. Send results to CSV, Google Sheets, Instantly, HeyReach, Aimfox, or Atlas — same workflow as Job Listening.

  Market Mapping replaced the deprecated **Custom List** upload flow for new signals. Legacy Custom List signals may still exist in older workspaces.
